Corporate Vision for Environmental Sustainability
Mr. Pongsak Sawatyanon, Chief Executive Officer of Plearnpat Asset Co., Ltd., stated:
“Maison Development has partnered with Laivijit, a long-standing expert in premium staircase wood manufacturing. Their craftsmanship plays an important role in elevating the standards and image of our projects in every dimension — from design and construction quality to environmental responsibility.”
With a vision focused on delivering valuable living experiences to homeowners while fostering a sustainable society, lifestyle, and quality of life, Maison places great importance on selecting environmentally friendly materials and innovations. Since 2024, the company has continuously implemented low-carbon staircase wood certified with the Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) label across its projects, as part of its commitment to raising housing standards alongside social and environmental responsibility.
Maison Projects Using Low-Carbon Staircase Wood
Maison considers sustainability a core foundation in shaping its strategies and driving organizational growth. The company aims to grow alongside stakeholders in a stable and balanced manner while integrating technology and innovation to improve construction efficiency, reduce project timelines, minimize waste from construction sites, and lower dust, pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions in a tangible way.
Projects developed by Maison since 2024 that incorporate low-carbon staircase wood include:
A total of 6 projects comprising 274 residential units.
The staircase wood used across these projects has helped reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 7,149.48 kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kgCO2e), which is comparable to planting approximately 525.7 trees.*
Note: Based on carbon sequestration data from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), which estimates teak plantation carbon absorption at 13.6–21.6 kgCO2e per tree per year (density of 100 trees per rai at 4×4 meter spacing). The calculation of equivalent tree planting is based on 13.6 kgCO2e per tree per year.
Laivijit Advances “Low Carbon Staircase” Innovation
The collaboration between Maison Development and Laivijit reflects not only an enhancement in construction quality, but also the beginning of promoting the “Low Carbon Staircase” concept as a concrete part of environmentally responsible residential development.
Mr. Peerasin Tangkijngamwong, Managing Director of Laivijit Co., Ltd., stated:
“As a staircase solutions partner, collaborating with Maison Development — a company that prioritizes sustainable project development — allows Laivijit to fully leverage our manufacturing expertise, innovation capabilities, and Low Carbon Staircase concept. We are committed to developing high-quality products with competitive costs and efficient delivery systems to help elevate staircase standards and contribute to the long-term balanced and sustainable growth of Thailand’s housing industry.”
